The Ministry Of Public Works Budget Remains IDR 29.57 Trillion, This Is A List Of Priority Projects 2025

JAKARTA - The remaining budget ceiling for the Ministry of Public Works (PU) for the 2025 fiscal year is IDR 29.57 trillion.

This is the impact of the existence of budget efficiency of IDR 81.38 trillion from the total initial ceiling of IDR 110.95 trillion.

PU Minister Dody Hanggodo said the budget cuts followed the presidential (Inpres) instruction of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2025 concerning Expenditure Efficiency in the Implementation of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget and Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget for Fiscal Year 2025.

"Following up on the efficiency of the 2025 budget, we have canceled several physical activities and infrastructure development as well as non-priority activities," said Dody during a Working Meeting with Commission V DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, quoted Friday, February 7.

With this minimal budget, this is a list of priority projects of the Ministry of Public Works.

1. Water Resources Division IDR 10.70 Trillion

- One unit of construction of the Jenelata Dam;- 450 hectares of irrigation area construction;- 16,000 hectares of irrigation network rehabilitation;- 11 kilometers of flood control;- 5.5 kilometers of coastal safety; and- 0.25 cubic meters per second of supply of raw water.

2. Road & Bridge Division IDR 12.48 Trillion

- Construction of new roads 63 kilometers;- Improved capacity and preservation of road improvement of 342 kilometers;- Construction and duplication of 1.096 meters bridge;- Construction of flyovers and underpass 242 meters; and- 13-kilometer toll road construction.

3. Cipta Karya Division Rp3.78 Trillion

- Construction and increase of SPAM 750 liters per second;- Expansion of SPAM 1,702 house connections;- Wastewater management 2,000 families;- Waste management 700 families; - Development of 11.5 hectares; and- Construction of two building units.

4. Strategic Infrastructure Field IDR 1.16 Trillion

- PHTC Madrasah 86 units;- Rehabilitation and renovation of 11 universities and religious units;- Rehabilitation and renovation of four units of the market;- Two units of sports infrastructure; and - other infrastructure such as schools, markets and health centers in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) four units.

5. Directorate General of Construction Development, Directorate General of Infrastructure Financing and SIBB Rp1.46 Trillion

- Management support and other technical tasks such as planning, supervision, infrastructure financing, strengthening human resources, management and construction development services.
