JAKARTA PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) cooperates with PT Aerotrans Services Indonesia to present gas fuel solutions (BBG) for Aerotrans operational vehicles, in order to increase efficiency as well as reduce carbon emissions.
Through this collaboration, PGN will provide supporting infrastructure, including a strategic Gas Fuel Filling Station (SPBG) to ensure easier access for Aerotrans vehicles.
In addition, PGN will implement a conversion technology that allows fuel-based vehicles to switch to BBG safely and efficiently.
"This cooperation in using natural gas to support efficiency and green energy ecosystems in Aerotrans. We are ready to provide useful solutions related to the use of BBG, in line with the direction of PGN's strategy in expanding natural gas utilization in the transportation sector," said PGN's Director of Strategy and Business Development Rosa Permata Sari, Thursday, February 6.
PGN, continued Rosa, believes that this collaboration is not only limited to the conversion of vehicles to BBG, but also opens up opportunities for the use of natural gas for wider energy needs.
"In the future, the two companies will explore the development of integrated energy infrastructure, such as gas power plants (PLTG), charging stations for electric vehicles, as well as BBG distribution facilities to support Aerotrans's energy needs in the future," continued Rosa.

Meanwhile, the Director of PT Aerotrans Services Indonesia, Kadek Bayu Temaja, positively welcomed this collaboration as a concrete step in presenting energy solutions that are more environmentally friendly in the transportation sector.
