BRI Designs Long-Term Strategy For MSMEs

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) or BRI successfully held BRI Microfinance Outlook 2025.

This event is one of BRI's efforts to encourage the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia.

BRI's Director of Micro Business, Supari said, managing MSMEs is not an easy thing, unlike many people describe that managing MSMEs can be done by autopilot.

Therefore, BRI Microfinance Outlook 2025 is an important part of the management and development of MSMEs.

"This is an annual event, but it's not just an event, but we want a lot of things from this event. This is a discussion event, the packaging is a seminar, but let's see what we come as resource persons, it can really provide insight to stakeholders as well, especially to BRI," Supari said in a written statement, Wednesday, February 4.

He added, on the first day, BRI invited a number of experts who were resource persons in the hope that they could provide views related to global and domestic issues.

"Today, maybe, related to an endless war, inflation in developed countries like this, is a global issue. Then transmission becomes a national issue, now with this increasingly massive technology is fast. So like it or not, global issues will transmit to domestic issues," he explained.

Furthermore, through the BRI Microfinance Outlook 2025, all parties can get a policy response from relevant stakeholders. For example, policies related to the posture of the state budget.

"Earlier, Mr. Narso said. Later there will be policies in the form of a short-term, it must be in the form of the APBN posture. So it was very useful when Mrs. Sri Mulyani conveyed the posture of the 2025 State Budget. That is a form of policy response to global issues and domestic issues, especially macro," he said.

From there, BRI will align and respond in the form of strategies that will certainly be implemented by the company. This strategy does not only apply in the short term, but also in the medium and long term.

"So that we can get a precise strategy to address the impact of global issues that have been responded to in stakeholder policies, then we enter to carry out a good strategy, fit, for how these MSMEs can still be served by BRI," he concluded.
