Long Holiday Isra Mikraj-Imlek, Jasa Marga Records 395,000 Vehicles Exiting Jabotabek

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk noted that 395,701 vehicles had left the Jabotabek area in the period D-3 to D-2 long holidays Isra Mikraj and the 2025 Chinese New Year.

Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, Lisye Octaviana said, this figure is the cumulative number of traffic flows (traffic) from the four Main Toll Gates (GT).

The four main toll gates are GT Cikupa (towards Merak), GT Ciawi (towards Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (towards Trans Java) and GT Kalihurip Utama (towards Bandung).

"The total volume of traffic leaving the Jabotabek area increased by 24.3 percent compared to normal traffic, namely 318,444 vehicles," he said in an official statement, Sunday, January 26.

For the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek towards the three directions, the majority were 209,666 vehicles or 53.0 percent headed East (Trans Java and Bandung). Then, 101,482 vehicles or 25.6 percent headed for the West (Merak) and 84,553 vehicles or 21.4 percent headed for the South (Puncak).

In detail, traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 112,091 vehicles, an increase of 84.2 percent from normal traffic.

Then, traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 97,575 vehicles, an increase of 25.6 percent from normal traffic.

"The total traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs is 209,666 vehicles, an increase of 51.3 percent from normal traffic," he said.

Meanwhile, there were 101,482 traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Merak via the Cikupa GT Tangerang-Merak Toll Road. This number increased by 1.6 percent from normal traffic.

Then, continued Lisye, the number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek heading towards Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 84,553 vehicles, or an increase of 5.7 percent from normal traffic.

Jasa Marga appealed to toll road users to anticipate the long holiday period of Isra Mikraj and the 2025 Chinese New Year well.

Before entering the toll road, make sure travel planning with the Travoy application, vehicles and drivers are in top condition, use your time wisely by taking sufficient time to rest in the rest area, ensuring sufficient fuel and electronic money card balances, complying with signs and directions from officers in the field.
