JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk recorded the volume of BRImo mobile banking transactions, IDR 2,084 trillion as of October 2022. This record grew more than double in the same period in 2021.

BRI's Director of Consumer Business Handayani revealed that BRImo can present various features according to customer needs. BRImo's presence is also in line with the company's efforts to realize financial inclusion through access to services that can be accessed only in the hands of hands.

He further added, until October 2022, BRImo users had grown 73.55 percent yoy to 22.37 million. Meanwhile, the number of transactions in the same period shot up 118.1 percent yoy.

BRImo transactions increased from 649 million in October 2021 to 1.42 billion transactions in October 2022.

From the completed financial transactions, BRI's fee-based income in the third quarter of 2022 reached IDR 1.15 trillion or grew 108.9 percent compared to the third quarter of 2021 which amounted to IDR 553 billion.

Furthermore, Handayani revealed that BRI is continuously trying to increase fee-based income or commissions in the midst of the momentum of increasing digital transactions.

"BRI is also able to record better fee-based income growth by being supported by increasing digital transactions and then thanks to digital transformation which we continue to do in a sustainable manner," he added.

BRImo has been equipped with more than 100 features and connected to various billers and aggregators to serve the various needs of customer financial transactions. Some of the most frequently used features or BRImo killer fees include Digital Saving, BRImo Registration, BRImo Fast Menu, Cash Tarik Without Cards to Personal Financial Management.

In the future, BRI will continue to expand collaboration with several well-known financial technology (fintech) startups in Indonesia.
