NET TV, Television Station Owned By The Indika Group of Conglomerate Agus Lasmono Sudwikatmono Officially Takes The Floor On The IDX: Raises IDR 149.99 Billion In Funds

JAKARTA - The parent company of the national broadcaster NET, PT Net Visi Media Tbk (NETV), is officially listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange today, Wednesday 26 January. In its initial public offering, the issuer with the stock code NETV released its shares to the public at a price of IDR 196 per share.

NETV offers a maximum of 765.306.100 new shares or the equivalent of 4.37 percent of the issued and fully paid capital after the IPO. From the initial public offering, the television station which is under the auspices of the Indika Group owned by conglomerate Agus Lasmono Sudwikatmono is targeting the acquisition of funds during the initial offering period (book building) of IDR 149.99 billion.

The proceeds from this public offering after deducting emission costs will be used for the development of NETV's subsidiaries, such as the development of content production and program purchases, the company's working capital in managing the artist management industry, development of digital media platforms, and settlement of a certain number of loan facilities.

Apart from obtaining funds from the public offering, the company also converted Mandatory Convertible Bonds/MCBs with a total value of IDR 810 billion, including from PT Spirit Bambu Runcing (a subsidiary of PT Tokopedia) into equity participation and conversion of shareholder loans with a total value of IDR 353.45 billion was invested in shares.

According to the CEO of NETV, Deddy Hariyanto, the step of listing as a public company is part of the plan to accelerate the achievement of several priorities for the company's business development.

"Through the NET national broadcasting subsidiary, which is known for its creative and contemporary content, we want to develop NET content so that it can reach more potential viewers in Indonesia. We will also continue to develop various innovative digital-based broadcast media technology platforms from our subsidiaries. We have strong potential in the future in line with the growing creativity of our exclusive content on digital media platforms," explained Deddy Hariyanto.

The company will also expand the utilization of IP and explore collaborations with a number of strategic partners to identify new IP monetization opportunities outside the media, including the utilization of new metaverse technologies such as AR (Augmented Reality) and NFT (Non Fungible Token).
