Shandy Purnamasari's Meeting With Martha Tilaar, An Icon Of Beauty Entrepreneurs Across Generations

JAKARTA - J99Corp, through its beauty business line, PT Kosmetika Global Indonesia (PT Kosme) continues to make breakthroughs. On October 14, 2021, the J99 Corp group, led by Gilang Widya Pramana and Shandy Purnamasari, visited one of Indonesia's legendary icons, Martha Tilaar, Founder & Chairwoman of Martha Tilaar Group.

The meeting of Indonesian beauty icons across generations took place at the Alex Tilaar Learning House, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

"We really admire her (Martha Tilaar) who has dedicated her life and work to the advancement of Indonesian beauty from natural ingredients. As the younger generation, we certainly learn from her tenacity, dedication and sincerity to succeed in the beauty business," said Gilang Widya Pramana, Owner of J99Corp. , in his written statement, quoted Friday, October 22.

This is also shared by Shandy Purnamasari who has long admired Martha Tilaar as a person who consistently elevates traditional Indonesian beauty to be known in foreign countries. This is of course in accordance with one of the visions of PT Kosme which raises the potential of Indonesian natural ingredients for beauty and traditional medicines.

"We certainly really appreciate the efforts of the younger generation to raise the potential of Indonesia's natural wealth as cosmetics and traditional medicines, as has been done by PT Kosme," said Martha Tilaar.

The management of PT Kosme was also present to accompany the historic meeting, including Titis Indah Wahyu & Danang Dwi Yuanto, along with other management. Martha Tilaar was accompanied by her two sons who are also directors of the Martha Tilaar Group, namely Kilala Tilaar and Bryan Emil Tilaar.

The meeting discussed exploring cooperation opportunities to increase the potential of Indonesian traditional ingredients, to continue to be developed as a world-class cosmetic industry. Through this meeting, both PT Kosme and Martha Tilaar Group will continue to synergize to combine research and innovation with Indonesian natural ingredients, to strengthen the traditional beauty and health industry.
