Startup Pahamify Supports Government In Distance Education Program

JAKARTA - The start-up company PT Pahami Cipta Edukasi (Pahamify) supports the government's efforts to organize distance education programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. In its action, the 4.0 technology-style corporation provides free services in the form of learning video materials for students and supervising teachers.

Pahamify's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Syarif Rousyan Fikri said the move was expected to provide new enthusiasm for students as well as teachers and parents who played a major role in online learning methods.

"The pandemic situation does not allow learning and teaching activities to be carried out face-to-face. However, this does not mean the purpose of education will stop. Through the use of technology, we also facilitate virtual learning, which has now entered the second year of the pandemic," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, August 4.

In addition, this contributive effort is also intended to minimize the potential for learning loss, namely the lack of optimal distance teaching and learning activities which include limited resources, supervision, and effective interaction during the learning process.

"Through a number of contents that we present, teachers and students no longer need to look for virtual materials that are relevant to their learning because it has been prepared according to their respective educational levels," he said.

Syarif added, in this new academic year, his party also provides free webinars and live class demos to help parents and teachers prepare mentoring for students.

Furthermore, Syarif also explained that his company collaborated with online shopping platforms to access fee-paying program payments through ShopeePay. It is stated that there is a cashback facility of up to 100 percent for participants who make transactions until August 16.

For information, Pahamify is an educational technology company that claims to have more than 20,000 learning content and has been downloaded by 1 million customers via the AppStore and Google Play.
