From Strategy to Execution, SIG Operations Director Directly Reviews the Optimization of Semen Production and Distribution in Aceh

JAKARTA - Facing the increasing demand and pressure on cement supply in Aceh, PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) strengthens the reliability of its factories and distribution networks to restore and maintain the smooth supply of cement for the community and support development in the region.

The Director of SIG Operations, Reni Wulandari, directly reviewed the operational readiness at PT Solusi Bangun Andalas in Lhoknga and Lhokseumawe and the packing plant of PT Semen Padang in Malahayati, accompanied by the Director of PT Solusi Bangun Andalas, Edi Sarwono, and the Director of Operations of PT Semen Padang, Andria Delfa.

Reni said that the increase in cement demand in Aceh needed to be responded to by strengthening the synergy of the entire SIG operational and distribution network so that supplies could run smoothly again and the needs of the community and stakeholders of development could be met.

"In addition to optimizing production and distribution facilities in the Aceh region, SIG also strengthens coordination with distributors and logistics partners to maintain orderly and efficient distribution. The company also regularly monitors stock availability and distribution activities, and conducts daily evaluations as a basis for decision-making," said Reni Wulandari, in a statement, Monday, August 10.

SIG's commitment to supporting development in Aceh was also demonstrated through the Company's policy towards flood-affected areas at the end of 2025, namely Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra. SIG continues to make maximum efforts to maintain product availability at various sales points even though the Company is under pressure on the availability and price of fuel.

"As a state-owned enterprise, we have a responsibility to contribute to supporting the government's development agenda, as well as meeting the development needs of the community. We do this by ensuring reliable operations and quality cement supply from all SIG Group operating facilities," concluded Reni Wulandari.
