Working On The Digital Niche, Net Syariah Bank Officially Changed Its Name To Aladin Syariah Bank

JAKARTA - PT Bank Net Indonesia Syariah Tbk. reported to have obtained a name change permit from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk. based on the Decree of the Deputy Commissioner for Banking Supervision I of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) No. KEP-42/PB.1/2021 Dated June 3, 2021 regarding the Stipulation of the Use of Business Permits.

This information was shared by the company in an information disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today, Monday, June 7, 2021. The name change is in accordance with the mandate of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) which was held some time ago.

In its report, the business entity codenamed BANK ensures that the company's business activities will not be disrupted and run as usual despite the name change.

"There is no impact on the incident and material factual information, so that the company's business activities and operations continue to run normally as usual," the report said as quoted on Monday, June 7.

In addition to receiving the green light from OJK, the legality of the name change was also approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia No. AHU-0021937.AH.01.02 of 2021 dated 12 April 2021 concerning Approval of Amendments to the Articles of Association of Limited Liability Company PT Bank Net Indonesia Syariah Tbk.

For information, PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk. is a financial service institution that is included in one of the first waves of transformation of conventional banking to digital in the country.

Meanwhile, the change in the name of PT Bank Net Indonesia Syariah Tbk. became PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk. cannot be separated from the process of entering new investors into the company on behalf of PT NTI Global Indonesia and PT Berkah Anugerah Abadi.

Bank Aladin itself is now led by Dyota Mahottama Marsudi as the president director who is the son of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi.
