PLN Iconnet Internet Subscription Fees Start From IDR 185 Thousand

JAKARTA - The rapid development of technology today affects various aspects of life. In fact, society is increasingly dependent on the Internet. PT PLN (Persero) through its subsidiary, PT Indonesia Comnets Plus (ICON+) launched a fixed broadband internet service titled Iconnet.

How much does it cost to subscribe to PLN Iconnet internet?

Quoted from the iconnet.id site, the following is a list of internet and cable package subscription fees. Prices for subscriptions start at IDR 185,000 per month and are already unlimited. The following types of packages are offered:

Iconnet Internet Packages:

1. Iconnet 10

To subscribe to this package, the public has to pay Rp. 185,000 per month. Customers will get full fiber internet with unlimited download speeds of up to 10 Mbps.

2. Iconnet 20

The subscription fee is IDR 207,000 per month, customers will get full fiber internet with unlimited download speeds of up to 20 Mbps.

3. Iconnet 50

To subscribe to this package, the public has to pay Rp.297,000 per month. Customers will get full fiber internet with unlimited download speeds of up to 50 Mbps.

4. Iconnet 100

The cost that must be paid by the public to subscribe to this service is IDR 427,000 per month. Customers will get full fiber internet with unlimited download speeds of up to 100 Mbps.

Iconnet Internet and Cable TV Packages:

1. Iconnet 10

Subscription costs IDR 352,273 per month. Customers will get full fiber internet with unlimited download speeds of up to 10 Mbps and access to cable TV channels.

2. Iconnet 20

The subscription fee is IDR 374,273 per month. Customers will get full fiber internet with unlimited download speeds of up to 20 Mbps and access to cable TV channels.

3. Iconnet 50

Subscription costs Rp.464,273 per month. Customers will get full fiber internet with unlimited download speeds of up to 50 Mbps and access to cable TV channels.

4. Iconnet 100

Subscription costs IDR 594,273 per month. Customers will get full fiber internet with unlimited download speeds of up to 100 Mbps and access to cable TV channels.

PLN President Director, Zulkifli Zaini, said that this internet service has been officially served to customers throughout Indonesia in a reliable, affordable and unlimited manner. He said, PLN was called upon to contribute to lighting up the entire country by providing fast access to information through the provision of the internet.

With the synergy between its subsidiaries, PLN is confident that it will realize this noble goal through Iconnet, an Internet service that is reliable (reliable), affordable (affordable), unlimited (without limits) and of course ready to compete with competitors or other internet service providers.

For information, data on fixed broadband internet users in Indonesia in 2020 increased from 12 percent to 15 percent. According to Zulkifli, this is an opportunity for Iconnet to be able to contribute to the fixed broadband internet market in providing fiber optic internet services, especially to reach people's needs in the digital era and the era of adapting to new habits (new normal).
