A 'New Face' Of Telkom Commissioners, From Abdee Slank, Bambang Brodjonegoro To Arya Sinulingga

JAKARTA - PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) reshuffled its board of commissioners and directors at the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGMS) held Friday, May 28.

Interestingly, there are a number of familiar names who are included in the board of commissioners of this state-owned issuer. One of them is Bambang Soemantri Brodjonegoro, former Minister of Research and Technology. Bambang served as President Commissioner replacing Rhenald Kasali.

Besides Bambang Brodjonegoro, another public figure who is included in the ranks of TLKM's commissioners is Abdi Negara Nurdin alias Abdee Slank, guitarist for the band Slank. Abdi was appointed as an independent commissioner by the shareholders.

There is also a Special Staff to the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga. Then there is the person who was once called the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani as "the richest person in Indonesia", namely the Director General of Budget of the Ministry of Finance Isa Rachmatarwata.

Meanwhile, the AGMS did not change the board of directors much. There was only one position in the board of directors that was replaced, namely Director of Wholesale & International Service, which was held by Bogi Witjaksono, replacing Dian Rachmawan.
