Exceeding the State Budget Target, Oil Lifting in 2025 Achieved 605,300 Barrels of Oil per Day

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) reported that the achievement of oil lifting throughout 2025 had exceeded the APBN target of 605,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD).

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia revealed that the lifting of oil throughout 2025 was recorded at 652,900 BOPD per day. According to Bahlil, this achievement occurred after 9 years the APBN target was never achieved.

"Alhamdulillah, our target today, 605.3 MBOE or equal to 100.05 percent. So our lifting target, Alhamdulillah, has reached the target, even exceeded it, even though it is a little," said Bahlil at the 2025 Performance Achievement Press Conference, Thursday, January 8.

For information, in 2025, the realization of lifting only reached 614,100 BOPD. Meanwhile, this year's lifting achievement includes Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) and condensate from PT Donggi Senoro LNG.

Meanwhile, for the achievement of lifting natural gas throughout 2025 only reached 951.8 MBOEPD from the target set in the 2025 State Budget which was pegged at 1,005 MBOEPD. The natural gas lifting does not include Natural Gas Liquid (NGL)

However, Bahlil said that throughout 2025 Indonesia did not import gas. In fact, Indonesia also did not import 40 LNG cargoes due to the dynamics that occurred at the beginning of the year.

"But thanks to the hard work of all of us, in 2025 we do not import gas. And this is our production, so all of our production. Some of us use it for domestic use, some of us export it," said Bahlil.
