JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid emphasized that certainty and time transparency are the main keys to improving the quality of land services, in line with the increasing needs of the community and the business world for legal certainty over land assets.
According to Nusron, the orientation of services in the ATR/BPN environment must focus on applicant satisfaction, one of which is realized through clarity of the process and estimated time for completing the file.
"Our office is service-oriented. The key is customer satisfaction. Customers are satisfied when there is certainty about when it will be completed, can be tracked, and it is clear where the file has arrived," said Nusron as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 7.
He said, the principle of certainty and transparency of time is an important part of accelerating the completion of land service files which his ministry has continued to encourage since the fourth quarter of last year.
This effort is considered crucial to support the investment climate and economic activities that require fast and accountable land services.
Nusron also emphasized the importance of strengthening standard operating procedures (SOP) as the foundation of professional service. SOP, according to him, not only serves as a risk control tool, but also maintains a balance between regulatory compliance and service speed.
"This is important as an art of self-protection as well as maintaining customer satisfaction. We want to serve the community prudently and compliantly, but also quickly so that applicants are satisfied," he said.
Stressing the strategic role of West Java as a buffer area for the capital, Nusron assessed that strengthening human resources (HR) was a key factor in the success of service transformation. HR in the Jabodetabek and Banten regions are required to have leadership capacity, the courage to make decisions, and prudence in carrying out their duties.
"Especially in West Java, human resources must be strong, have a leader's spirit, be prudent but still brave. Brave without caution is dangerous," he said.
Previously, Nusron also emphasized the importance of adaptive, fast, and clean land services.
He asked the ATR/BPN to carry out a thorough improvement so that it can keep up with changes in people's behavior, the acceleration of technology, and the increase in public service standards.
With the increasing service load every year, Nusron hopes that the Ministry of ATR/BPN can maintain the consistency of institutional transformation, so that land services are able to support business certainty, investment smoothness, and national economic growth.
