Not Up! Here's the Details of the Electricity Tariff for 13 Customer Categories

JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has set the electricity tariff for the first quarter (January-March) of 2026 for 13 groups of non-subsidized customers that remain unchanged.

Acting Director General of Electricity of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Tri Winarno, said this decision was taken as a step to maintain people's purchasing power and provide certainty and economic stability at the beginning of the year.

"Based on the calculation of these parameters, the electricity tariff formula has the potential to change. However, in order to maintain people's purchasing power, the Government has decided that the electricity tariff for the first quarter of 2026 will remain unchanged," said Tri, quoted on Saturday, January 3.

Thus, the following are the details of the electricity tariff:

Household (R)

Subsidy Customers:

450 VA power: Rp415 per kWh.

900 VA power: Rp605 per kWh.

Non-Subsidi Customers:

R-1/TR power 900 VA (RTM - Household Capable): Rp1,352 per kWh.

R-1/TR power 1,300 VA: Rp1,444.70 per kWh.

R-1/TR power 2,200 VA: Rp1,444.70 per kWh.

R-2/TR power 3,500-5,500 VA: Rp1,699.53 per kWh.

R-3/TR power 6,600 VA and above: Rp1,699.53 per kWh.

Business (B)

B-1/TR power 450-5.500 VA: Rp535-Rp1.100 per kWh (Prepaid).

B-2/TR power 6.600 VA-200 kVA: Rp1.444,70 per kWh.

B-3/TM power above 200 kVA: Rp1,114.74 per kWh.

Industrial (I)

I-1/TR power 450 VA-14 kVA: Rp486-Rp1.112 per kWh (Prepaid).

I-3/TM power above 200 kVA: Rp1,114.74 per kWh.

I-4/TT power 30,000 kVA and above: Rp996.74 per kWh.

Government (P)

P-1/TR power 6.600 VA-200 kVA: Rp1.699,53 per kWh.

P-2/TM power above 200 kVA: Rp1,522.88 per kWh.

P-3/TR for public road lighting: Rp1,699.53 per kWh.

Social Group (S)

S-1/TR power 450 VA: Rp325 per kWh.

S-1/TR power 900 VA: Rp455 per kWh.

S-1/TR power 1,300 VA: Rp708 per kWh.

S-1/TR power 2.200 VA: Rp760 per kWh.

S-1/TR power 3.500 VA-200 kVA: Rp900 per kWh.

S-2/TM power more than 200 kVA: Rp 925 per kWh.

Special Service (L)

L/TR, TM, TT power at various voltages: Rp1,644.52 per kWh.
