JAKARTA - PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) noted that there were a number of stock sectors as the largest dividend contributors throughout 2025.

KSEI President Director, Samsul Hidayat, explained that there were five main sectors that contributed the highest dividends, namely the financial sector, especially banking, as the largest dividend contributor with a value of Rp. 80.34 trillion.

"In 2025, the financial or banking sector distributes dividends of Rp. 80.3 trillion. Then the energy sector, below it is the energy-coal production sector of Rp. 27 trillion," he said in a press conference at the BEI Building, Tuesday, December 30.

Meanwhile, the integrated infrastructure and telecommunications services sector ranked next with a total dividend of IDR 20.18 trillion.

This is followed by industrial companies and multisector holding companies of IDR 10.48 trillion, as well as the infrastructure and wireless telecommunications services sector worth IDR 10.46 trillion.

Throughout 2025, KSEI has also channeled various corporate actions with a total value of IDR 491 trillion, an increase compared to the same period last year of IDR 469 trillion.

In addition, the number of corporate actions facilitated by KSEI during this year reached 7,610 activities.

"Of the 7,610 actions, most of them are the distribution of bond interest, then the proceeds, principal repayment, then the distribution of dividends, as well as other activities that KSEI does in the number of distributing corporate actions to investors," he added.

Samsul also revealed that the number of investors throughout 2025 experienced a significant growth of 36 percent, from 14.8 million to 20.2 million Single Investor Identification (SID).

According to him, this increase is inseparable from the continuous efforts of the KSEI Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) in the capital market in expanding education and understanding of the capital market.

"This growth feels like a part of the results that we have all done in socializing or disseminating the benefits and functions of the capital market to all Indonesian people, especially," he said.
