Goes To Campus Doors Present At Bina Nusantara University, Together With OJK Provide Crypto Education

JAKARTA - PT Pintu Kemana Saja (PINTU), a crypto application registered officially as a Digital Financial Asset Trader (PAKD) in Indonesia in collaboration with the Investortrust.id media held a Pintu Goes to Campus educational program at Bina Nusantara University (Binus) with the theme, Crypto for Students: Melek Science Cuan Flowing to more than 200 Binus students.

This event received support from various parties who were also present at this event, including the Head of the Directorate of Licensing and Quality Control of Financial Sector Technology Innovation, Digital Financial Assets, and OJK Crypto Assets Catur Karyanto Select, Bina Nusantara University Lecturer Dr. Hugo Prasetyo W S.S., MM., Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Investorstrust.id Abdul Aziz, Student Support Office Associate Manager of Noble Rahmat, S.Pd., Chief Marketing Officer of DOOR Timotius Martin, Executive Director of the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF) Esther Sri Astuti, and Founder of TradeWithSuli Sulianto Indria Putra.

Catur Karyanto Select, Head of the Directorate of Licensing and Quality Control of Supervision of Financial Sector Technology Innovation, Digital Financial Assets, and OJK Crypto Assets in his speech gave a message to students about the importance of literacy.

"We express our deepest appreciation to Binus University for organizing this event as an effort to increase understanding and literacy related to digital asset products and services, including crypto assets," he said in a written statement, Thursday, December 11.

Catur added that digital literacy and financial literacy were the main requirements before entering the world of crypto assets.

"Strong literacy understanding helps people recognize benefits and risks so they can use digital financial services wisely. In fact, students can become agents of change that encourage others to use digital financial services appropriately," he explained.

In line with OJK, Dr. Hugo Prasetyo W S.S., MM, a lecturer at Bina Nusantara University during a panel discussion session, expressed the University's commitment in literacy regarding crypto assets.

Binus has an integrated curriculum. Friends who want to know crypto can learn coding in crypto science. From the finance side, we can learn in the finance department. In fact, we have Beehive, a special laboratory for cryptocurrencies that has critical discussion spaces to Binus has Binus Blockchain and Crypto Club. We hope that students at Binus will not only become consumers but can become innovators," he explained.

Timotius Martin, CMO PINTU, appreciated all parties who have fully supported the Pintu Goes to Campus event.

"We appreciate the University of Bina Nusantara for receiving the DOOR at the end of 2025 to be able to have various knowledge about the benefits and risks that exist in the crypto industry, which we hope will be a good provision for fellow students before starting investing in crypto assets. The crypto industry continues to grow every year. Citing a report from CoinLaw entitled, Crypto User Democracy Statistics 2025: Who's Investing, Trading, and Holding, crypto users globally from 2024 to 2025 experienced an increase of 34% or reached 580 million users. Still in the same report mentioned, the majority of crypto users are dominated by young ages from 18-34 years.

Indonesia is flooded with democratic bonuses for young productive people who also dominate users of domestic crypto assets. This is a blessing as well as a big challenge, especially in terms of literacy and inclusion.
