Kemenkop Teken MoU Accelerates The Development Of Kopedes/Kel Merah Putih With The Banyuwangi Regency Government

The Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop) and the Banyuwangi Regency Government signed a memorandum of agreement (MoU) to accelerate the physical development and operation of the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes/Kel).

The signing of this memorandum of understanding was carried out by the Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono and Banyuwangi Regent Ipuk Fiestiandani at the Office of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Wednesday, December 10.

Deputy Minister of Cooperatives Farida Farichah said the signing was aimed at accelerating the physical development of outlets and warehousing for the Red and White Village Cooperatives in Banyuwangi.

"Secondly, expansion is related to operationalization, acceleration of operationalization and also the possible business development in Banyuwangi," said Faida, Wednesday, December 10.

Farida said this collaboration lasted for three years with the target of the first year being to accelerate the construction of physical buildings for red and white cooperatives. According to Farida, the acceleration of this development requires the support of the Regency Government in the form of adequate and adequate land

"Later, we will observe the operational development of its business unit in 1-2 years," he continued.

Banyuwangi Regent, Ipuk Fiestiandani said, Banyuwangi Regency has 217 villages and sub-districts which are targets for the development of the Red and White Kopdes/Kel. Meanwhile, the potential that will be developed varies from marine potential to tourism.

"Starting from the sea, mountains, forests, plantations, rice fields to trade and tourism. Therefore, we emphasize that the development of the Village Cooperative must be based on the potential of each village," he continued.

Ipuk juga menyebut percepatan pembangunan Kopdes/KelMerah Putih dengan dukungan Kemenkop ini bertujuan agar pembangunannya sejalan dengan arahan kepala negara.

"Kami ingin langkah di Banyuwangi tetap sejalan dengan Asta Cita dan arahan Bapak Presiden,” tandas Ipuk.

Ipuk also said that the acceleration of the construction of the Kopdes/KelMerah Putih with the support of the Ministry of Cooperatives aims to ensure that its development is in line with the direction of the head of state.

"We want steps in Banyuwangi to remain in line with the Asta Cita and the direction of the President," said Ipuk.
