JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait (Ara) requested that the Financial Information Service System (SLIK) managed by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) be abolished.

This was conveyed by Ara in a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission V of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 19. Ara admitted that the decision was taken after he met with the Minister of Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadivewa and Chief Executive of Banking Supervisory as well as Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority Dian Ediana Rae.

"In a meeting two days ago with the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, the Minister of Finance and the OJK, I have also asked that the OJK SLIK be abolished," said Ara.

According to Ara, SLIK OJK is an obstacle for low-income people (MBR) who want to buy subsidized houses.

"Our position is to support that if possible, SLIK OJK at certain numbers is abolished, so as not to hinder our people who want subsidized houses," he said.

He also emphasized that OJK's right is limited to providing letters to channeling banks to provide SHIP relief to potential subsidized house buyers.

"Indeed, the OJK can make a letter to the bank, that's the position," explained Ara.

Previously, the Commissioner of the Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) Heru Pudyo Nugroho said, during the period January 1, 2022 to August 4, 2025, there were 111,258 debtor data that were not processed by the channeling bank for more than two months.

There are prospective FLPP recipients who have passed the subsidy of checking, but the channeling bank has not followed up.

The data was submitted by BP Tapera to OJK on August 5, 2025.

The OJK then responded to the data submitted by BP Tapera regarding the information on the data on prospective FLPP recipients, as many as 103,297 or 92.84 percent came from Himbara Bank and BSI.

The OJK detailed that from this data as many as 5,632 prospective debtors had realized their disbursement and 36,404 prospective debtors would be followed up by the channeling bank. Meanwhile, explicitly, there were 3,299 refusals because there were 3,299 SLIK statuses.

"In addition to the data above, BP Tapera also manually collects data related to the problem of SLIK from developers and banks in the field and collects data as much as 13,321," said Heru, quoted from BP Tapera's official website, Wednesday, November 19.

Of this number, there are SHIP problems with a Kolektibility (Kol) 2 to Kol 5 status of 5,146.
