Ministry Of Transportation Starts Rampchecking At Bus Pool Ahead Of Nataru

The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) through the Directorate General of Land Transportation has begun to carry out inspections of the safety of bus fleets at bus pool locations ahead of Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru) transportation.

Director General of Land Transportation Aan Suhanan witnessed firsthand the rampcheck activity at the PO Rosalia Indah pool, Karanganyar, Central Java.

Aan expressed his appreciation for PO Rosalia Indah for her commitment to implementing the Public Transportation Company Safety Management System (SMK PAU).

"Talk anything, if an accident occurs, it will definitely bring the company's reputation and harm passengers. Rosalia Indah has practiced SMK PAU well, not only for administrative requirements, this is an example of a obedient and obedient operator," said Aan in an official statement, Friday, November 14.

Aan reminded that currently there are still many operators who ignore the safety aspect and only pursue profits. According to him, operators who do not prioritize safety will eventually be left behind by consumers who prefer safe and comfortable services.

This visit is also a momentum to ensure transportation readiness ahead of the Christmas and New Year 2025/2026 holidays.

"We want to make sure the vehicles operated are roadworthy and safe, to minimize the fatality of the accident," added Director General Aan.

Furthermore, Aan also highlighted the importance of pre-inspection or vehicle inspection before operation as a form of the company's responsibility for safety. This has also been done by PO Rosalia Indah as a commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.

Meanwhile, the Director of Road Transportation Facilities and Safety, Yusuf Nugroho, reported the rampcheck results carried out on 11 Rosalia Indah vehicles today.

Yusuf assessed that PO Rosalia Indah managed to implement SMK PAU well as required by the Ministry of Transportation.

Of the 11 units, 7 are declared to be operating, while the other 4 units are replaced by a new fleet whose documents are still in process. This is clear evidence that by implementing SMK PAU properly, the company can actually develop and increase investment in the new fleet," explained Yusuf.

In addition to vehicle feasibility, Aan said that increasing driver HR competence is also a key factor for the safety of passengers.

"I see that Rosalia Indah is already present in improving driver competence through routine coaching. This is very important to maintain performance and safety," he said.

Sementara itu, Direktur Rosalia Indah, FX Adimas Rosdian menjelaskan memang selain memperhatikan kelaikan armada, pihaknya juga rutin memberikan edukasi kepada para karyawannya. Ini guna memastikan keselamatan dan kenyamanan pengguna bus.

“Salah satu persyaratan armada bisa beroperasi yakni kami lakukan inspeksi. Selain itu, kami juga rutin memberikan pengarahan dan pembinaan awak bus, kami pun rutin, terutama saat peak season, mengumpulkan seluruh awak bus untuk mendapat pengarahan yang melibatkan Dishub dan polisi,” jelasnya.
