The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop) noted significant progress in training to improve competence for assistants and administrators of the Red and White Village/Kel Village Cooperative (Kopdes/Kel).
The realization of complementary training as of early November 2025 has reached 61 percent of the total national target
Deputy for Talent Development and Competitiveness of the Kemenkop Cooperative, Destry Anna Sari explained, this training is part of a program to improve the quality of cooperative human resources funded through the 2025 deconcentration budget.
Furthermore, Destry said, this program targets 161,210 administrators and 19,015 assistants to the Red and White Kopdes in 514 districts/cities and 38 provinces.
Training is held through various methods, including face-to-face training and internships in a number of locations.
"The training realization shows progress that varies from 38 provinces. For complementary training, 11,415 participants have participated in the target of 18,839, or 61 percent," Destry said in an official statement, Monday, November 10.
Destry detailed that the training included Assistant Business (6,659 participants), Project Management Officer (880 participants), and other assistants (3,876 participants).
"However, from the schedule submitted by the Office in charge of Cooperatives, there are 11 provinces that will complete training in the second week of November 2025," he said.
In addition to complementary training, the program also targets cooperative management in all provinces.
As of November 7, 2025, the board's training has been attended by 17,558 participants from the target of 161,210, or around 10.7 percent.
"There is still a great need to increase the capacity of the management, because there are only two administrators who receive training," said Destry.
Destry added that apart from the Ministry of Cooperatives' deconcentration budget, training also received support from other ministries, including the Ministry of Manpower through the Directorate General of Industrial Relations Development and Social Security for Manpower.
For your information, training support is given to 200 KDKMP administrators, which take place in two locations, namely Bogor (10 12 November 2025) and Bekasi City (1719 November 2025).
