Complete Acquisition Process, TIS Energy Narrows 30 Percent Of Oil And Gas Field Participation Rights

JAKARTA - TIS Energy announced the successful completion of the Avenir Energy share acquisition process at Avenir Energy Pty Ltd, which has ownership of participation in the Migas court in Thailand Bay.

TIS Energy's Deputy Managing Director, Colin Soh, said the transaction was officially completed on October 28, 2025. Thus TIS Energy has 30 percent of the right to participation in the field.

"This acquisition marks an important milestone in TIS Energy's growth strategy, which is the company's first step in entering the offshore oil production sector in Thailand and strengthening its commitment to expanding its upstream oil and gas portfolio in the Asia-Pacific region," he said in a statement to the media, Saturday, November 8.

Iq explained that the oil field, which is located within the Block G1/48 concession area, is located about 80 kilometers from off the coast of Prachuap Province, Khari Khan.

"The acquisition of Goodminton is an important moment for TIS Energy in expanding and deepening our presence in the upstream Southeast Asian oil and gas sector," continued Colin.

According to him, this strategic step is in line with TIS Energy's long-term vision to strengthen its upstream asset base in Southeast Asia. The Badminton Field complements the gas assets that TIS Energy already has in Blora and Sebuku Blocks, Indonesia, thereby increasing portfolio resilience through a more balanced combination of oil and gas assets.

In accordance with the agreement, TIS Energy will work closely with Valeura Energy to ensure smooth operational continuity and coordination of co-lifying activities in the future.
