Lighthouse Company From Financial, Infrastructure, And Mining Ready To Go To The IDX

PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) reported that there are three companies with large market capitalization or lighthouse companies that are waiting for their turn to take the floor on the stock exchange through an initial public offering (IPO) scheme in the remainder of late 2025.

IDX Director of Corporate Assessment I Gede Nyoman Yetna explained that throughout 2025 there have been five lighthouse companies that have been officially listed on the capital market.

With this achievement, the IDX has met the target set for this year.

Even so, there are still three other big issuers who are in the process of going to the IPO.

"This year, after reaching 5 that have been recorded, there are actually 3 IPO lighthouses in our pipeline and are in process," he said at a virtual press conference of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS), Wednesday, October 29.

Furthermore, Nyoman said, the three companies came from the financial, infrastructure and mining sectors.

He added that the IDX together with independent institutions have also conducted a survey to encourage an increase in the number of IPO lighthouses in the Indonesian capital market.

"From the banking sector, then the other is infrastructure, and the other is from mining. So we hope that this will be recorded in 2025," he explained.

On the same occasion, IDX President Director Iman Rachman said that until October 24, 2025, there were a total of 955 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

As for this number, as many as 23 companies have implemented IPOs so far this year.

In addition, currently there are 13 other companies that are still in line or pipeline for the IPO.

Iman added that the IDX targets 45 companies to conduct IPOs by the end of 2025.

For the following year, 2026, the IDX set a higher target, namely 50 IPO companies.

Meanwhile, the target number of effects to be published next year will reach 555, up from the previous target of around 400 effects.

"In terms of effect, we are talking about effects so far. The increase in our effect has increased to 555 new effects. From the previous target of around 400 effects to 555. With 50 shares (in 2026). This year's target is 45 (IPO), next year we are targeting 50 IPO shares," he said.

Dari total tersebut, lanjut Imam, terdapat lima perusahaan dengan kapitalisasi pasar besar atau lighthouse company yang telah melaksanakan IPO tahun ini.

Menurutnya, capaian tersebut selaras dengan target strategis BEI dan ke depannya menargetkan ada enam lighthouse company yang melaksanakan IPO.

"Tahun ini kita targetkan 6 lighthouse. Jadi dari 50 yang IPO, ada 6 lighthouse IPO. Jadi tadi kita tidak bicara hanya jumlah, tapi juga kita bicara atas kualitas IPO-nya," jelasnya.

Of the total, continued Imam, there are five companies with large market capitalization or lighthouse companies that have implemented their IPOs this year.

According to him, this achievement is in line with the IDX's strategic targets and in the future it is targeting six lighthouse companies to carry out their IPOs.

"This year we are targeting 6 lighthouses. So from the 50 IPOs, there are 6 IPO lighthouses. So earlier we didn't talk about just the number, but we also talked about the quality of the IPO," he explained.
