State Expenditures Are Still Low, The Government Will Displace Less Efficient K/L Budgets

JAKARTA - The government affirms its commitment to accelerate the realization of state spending by the end of 2025, especially from the fourth quarter of 2025.

Deputy for Business Management and Development of State-Owned Enterprises, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Ferry Irawan explained, the government through the Task Force (Satgas) for the Acceleration of Government Programs is evaluating the spending capacity of each ministry and institution (K/L).

"For earlier monitoring various government priority programs, we have also compiled a task force to accelerate government programs. This has three pokja, the first is the field of monitoring the realization of the budget," he said at the Sarasehan 100 Economist Indonesia event, Tuesday, October 28.

Ferry said that the Government was reviewing the allocation, absorption, and projection (outlook) of the respective K/L budgets.

He added that this evaluation will be completed at the end of October 2025 to assess whether the budget implementation is running according to the target or not.

Ferry menjelaskan, bila hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya kementerian atau lembaga yang belum optimal dalam membelanjakan anggarannya, maka sisa dana akan dialihkan kepada instansi lain yang memiliki program lebih siap dan sesuai dengan prioritas Presiden Prabowo Subianto.

"Kalau misalnya tidak, berbagai percatatan dari Pak Menteri Keuangan, ini akan digeser ke teman-teman yang lain yang mempunyai program yang lebih siap," tuturnya.

Hingga akhir kuartal III-2025, realisasi belanja negara mencapai Rp2.234,8 triliun, atau sekitar 63,4 persen dari total outlook.

Ferry explained, if the evaluation results show that there are ministries or institutions that have not been optimal in spending their budget, then the remaining funds will be transferred to other agencies that have programs that are more prepared and in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto's priorities.

"If not, for example, various records from the Minister of Finance will be shifted to other friends who have a more prepared program," he said.

Until the end of the third quarter of 2025, the realization of state spending reached Rp2,234.8 trillion, or around 63.4 percent of the total outlook.
