JAKARTA A statue exhibition titled A Path to Glory by Chinese artist Ren Zhe, is now being held in Townhall, Indonesia Design District (IDD), PIK 2 to 19 October 2025.
More than 50 sculptures were displayed, making it Ren Zhe's most complete collection abroad.
This exhibition is not just an art agenda, but a strategy to stimulate the creative economy and invest in art.
Linda Ma as the owner of the Linda's Gallery said this was the right moment for local collectors to enter the international art market.
"The interest in Asian art assets is growing," said Linda.
The collection on display is based on the character of the Rajawali Warrior trilogy by Jin Yong.
Figures such as Guo Jing, Huang Rong, Yang Guo, to Xiaolongnu are embodied in bronze statues and stainless steel as high as 23 meters, featuring a blend of physical strength and dramatic side of character.
In the creative economy landscape in Asia, premium works of art are increasingly being looked at as alternative assets.
Several statues of Ren Zhe were sold at high-price international auctions.
Exposur di Indonesia diyakini akan meningkatkan visibilitas dan nilai investasi karya arta Asia.
In addition to art and investment values, this exhibition also has a local economic impact: tourism, the hotel, culinary sector, as well as malls and design areas around PIK 2 were also dragged up by the increase in visits.
Cultural collaborations like this strengthen bilateral creative economy relations.
