Ministry Of Manpower Records Applicants For The National Internship Program Capai 104,711 Participants

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower noted that as of Monday, October 13, at 10.00 WIB, 104,711 people had registered for the National Internship Program.

Meanwhile, 1,147 companies have opened internship vacancies through the Manganghub Application.

The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, said that later the interns would choose the three positions they wanted from the company. Later, the interns will be selected by the company to then be able to conduct internships at the company.

"So I want to say that the selection is not carried out by the Ministry of Manpower, but the selection is carried out by companies based on the data they do have," said Yassierli, Monday, October 13.

Yassierli said that he had also issued a Circular (SE) to regional heads in order to encourage more companies to participate in this National Internship Program.

He claimed to have received directions from President Prabowo Subianto to target internships this year to reach 100,000.

Meanwhile, in the first phase, the Ministry of Manpower has bought registration for 20,000 participants. With this high enthusiasm, his party is preparing the second stage with 80,000 participants.

"For the second batch, it is 80,000 and we are targeting that around mid-November it will be running," he continued.

Selain Maganghub, Kemnaker juga menyediakan Aplikasi Karirhub di platform SiapKerja bagi masyarakat umum untuk mencari pekerjaan tetap.

Yassierli said, for participants who have not passed the selection in the first batch, there is still an opportunity for the next batch with an additional 80,000 new internship vacancies.

The government is also committed to continuing this program in 2026.

In addition to Manganghub, the Ministry of Manpower also provides Career Humb Applications on platforms Ready to Work for the general public to find permanent work.

Currently, there are 200,000 active job vacancies, and the Ministry of Manpower is consolidating vacancies from various national private work portals.

"We are targeting more than 1 million job vacancies to be available, and this is not an internship vacancy," said the Minister of Manpower.
