Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto revealed that as many as 3.46 million Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) had accessed people's business loans (KUR) until September 2025.

This was conveyed by Airlangga at the Investor Daily Summit 2025 entitled "New Economic Order" at the Jakarta Convention Center, Thursday, October 9.

"The number of MSME entrepreneurs who have accessed people's business credit this year until September is 3.46 million," said Airlangga.

However, Airlangga did not reveal further how much the total KUR value had been distributed.

Previously, MSME Minister Maman Abdurahman called for MSME entrepreneurs to be more disciplined in managing finances, especially for their business capital.

According to Maman, high discipline is needed so that MSMEs can optimize access to financing obtained from government programs.

"We have two financing programs. KUR programs with government subsidies and financing programs outside KUR," Maman said in a statement to the media, Thursday, September 25.

Maman said, there are MSMEs that use capital from government programs other than for business development.

This could cause the business to fail to advance to class and worsen its credit assessment in the SLIK OJK.

As a result, MSMEs with poor credit value will find it increasingly difficult to apply for loans.

"No matter how good access to capital to business, it will not be useful without discipline in managing finances," said Maman.
