Telkom's Involvement To Develop Zero ODOL Policy E-Manifest

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development (IPK) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) revealed that PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk or Telkom was involved in implementing the Zero ODOL policy in 2027.

Later, PT Telkom will be involved in the development of the e-manifest to integrate ministries/agencies in the Zero ODOL policy or free trucks overloaded and dimensional.

"So, later there will be a new platform that integrates various work ministries/agencies called e-manifests, this is still under development and will be perfected," said AHY at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for IPK, Jakarta, quoted Tuesday, October 7.

This of course requires digital support. The conditions must be seamless (current) and user-friendly (user lectures).

"All of this requires support from various parties, including Telkom among them," he said.

AHY ensured that the implementation of the obesity free vehicle policy would be effective on January 1, 2027.

"So, we all agree that this Zero ODOL policy cannot be awaited or postponed. Therefore, with the efforts and hard work of all of us, it is hoped that on January 1, 2027, this Zero ODOL policy will be effective," he explained.

AHY added that the rules regarding ODOL are currently in the harmonization stage at the Ministry of Law level which is expected to be completed this October.

Meanwhile, a study by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) regarding the impact of implementing ODOL policies on logistics, inflation and the economy is being prepared and targeted for completion in December 2025.

According to him, the ODOL problem has not been resolved for decades. So, he is optimistic that Indonesia can be free of ODOL vehicles in the next two years.
