BNI Will Distribute IDR 55 Trillion Funds From The Government For The Productive Sector

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI will distribute banking liquidity assistance from the government worth IDR 55 trillion allocated through the policy of the Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadive. The funds will be distributed to productive sectors.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that this additional liquidity will provide greater space for the company in distributing credit according to the national development agenda.

"This placement of funds is a form of government trust in BNI. With an additional IDR 55 trillion, our financing capacity will be even greater to support productive sectors," Okki said in a written statement, Sunday, September 14.

Okki said BNI would distribute the funds to a number of priority government sectors, such as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), infrastructure, renewable energy, and green financing.

"The distribution is expected to accelerate inclusive economic growth and support long-term development agendas," he said.

Okki added that BNI will continue to coordinate with the government to ensure the implementation of policies is effective. The Company is also committed to maintaining the principle of prudence in lending.

"With an additional IDR 55 trillion, BNI is optimistic that it can increase its contribution to funding national strategic projects while strengthening Indonesia's economic recovery. The entire financing distribution process will continue to be carried out selectively with the precautionary principle and reported periodically to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia," said Okki.

By optimizing the placement of government funds, BNI emphasized its role as a strategic partner of the country in maintaining financial system stability while at the same time encouraging sustainable national economic growth.
