JAKARTA - The Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Industropolis Batang reiterated its reputation as a global investment magnet. A new milestone was recorded with the signing of the Industrial Land Utilization Agreement (PPTI) between the KEK Industropolis Batang and PT LBM Energi Baru Indonesia Batang, the global affiliated company that has become known as the number one Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) supplier in the world.

The signing was carried out by Ngurah Wirawan, President Director of SEZ Industropolis Batang, and Washington Feng, CEO of PT LBM Energi Baru Indonesia Batang, at the Ballroom of the Industropolis Batang SEZ Management Building.

The first phase of investment worth IDR 1.5 trillion will stand on an area of 31.72 hectares and is divided into three phases of development. This project is projected to absorb up to 1,000 local workers, with an operational plan in June 2026.

This facility will be fully oriented towards exports with a target capacity of 150,000 tons of LFP and 150,000 tons of FP per year.
