Before Being Removed From The Coordinating Minister, Budi Arie Asked For An Additional Budget Of IDR 7.8 Trillion

Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie Setiadi asked the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission VI for a budget year of IDR 7.85 trillion.

This budget is an addition to the Ministry of Cooperatives from the previous Rp937 billion.

Budi Arie detailed that this budget consists of IDR 711 billion pure rupiah and IDR 226 billion from the receipt of BLU for the Cooperative Revolving Fund Management Agency (LPDB). However, Budi Arie emphasized that this figure is not sufficient for a number of strategic programs, including strengthening the Red and White Village/Sub-District Cooperative.

"Allow us to apply for an additional budget for 2026 of IDR 7,854,658,000,000, especially related to the digitalization budget requirement of 80,000 Kopdes," he said, Monday, September 8.

Budi detailed that this budget will be used for institutional strengthening activities and cooperative governance of IDR 210 billion.

Then the transformation of the cooperative's digital ecosystem of Rp480 billion, cooperative business development activities of Rp299 billion and increased cooperative competitiveness by Rp298 billion.

Selanjutnya, tambahan anggaran itu juga akan diperuntukkan bagi penguatan sektor keuangan koperasi sebesar Rp184 miliar, pengawasan koperasi Rp234 miliar, pengembangan SDM koperasi Rp598 miliar, penguatan data dan informasi koperasi Rp460 miliar, dukungan pemberdayaan koperasi di daerah atau Dana Dekonsentrasi sebesar Rp4,52 triliun dan dukungan untuk Dewan Koperasi Indonesia (Dekopin) Rp50 miliar,

"Besaran usulan tambahan anggaran ini sebagai mana kami sampaikan dan telah mendapat persetujuan pada Rapat Kerja Komisi VI DPR RI dengan Kementerian Koperasi pada tanggal 9 Juli 2025," tandas dia.

Furthermore, the additional budget will also be intended for strengthening the cooperative's financial sector by Rp. 184 billion, supervision of cooperatives of Rp. 234 billion, development of cooperative human resources of Rp. 598 billion, strengthening data and information of cooperatives of Rp. 460 billion, support for empowerment of cooperatives in the regions or Deconcentration Funds of Rp. 4.52 trillion and support for the Indonesian Cooperative Council (Dokopin) of Rp. 50 billion.

"The amount of this additional budget proposal is as we conveyed and has received approval at the Commission VI Working Meeting of the DPR RI with the Ministry of Cooperatives on July 9, 2025," he said.
