Rubber Station Closed Due To Demo, Passengers Diverted To BNI City

JAKARTA - The Cikarang Commuter Line Operation to Angke/Kampung Bandan or Bekasi/Cikarang temporarily did not stop at Karet Station.

The engineering of this pattern of operations was carried out in connection with the crowd around Karet Station.

VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Joni Martinus, for the time being, the Commuter Line Cikarang trip did not stop at Karet Station until the situation and conditions at Karet Station were safe and conducive again.

"For the safety and security of Commuter Line users, currently starting at 21.15 WIB the Commuter Line Cikarang trip to Angke/Kampung Bandan or Bekasi/Cikarang temporarily does not stop at Karet Station," he said in an official statement, Thursday, August 28.

As an anticipation, continued Joni, passengers can go up or down at BNI City Station.

"Alternative for users, please go up and down at BNI City or Sudirman Stations," said Joni.

Joni bilang, petugas terkait juga sudah berada di Stasiun Karet untuk mengamankan dan mengatur pengguna.

“Kami juga mengimbau pengguna untuk mengikuti arahan petugas, mendahulukan penumpang yang keluar, serta menjaga ketertiban dan keselamatan bersama. Kami mohon maaf atas ketidaknyamanan yang terjadi serta keterlambatan perjalanan Commuter Commuter Cikarang pada malam hari ini,” tuturnya.

Joni said related officers were also at Karet Station to secure and regulate users.

"We also urge users to follow the directions of officers, prioritize passengers who come out, and maintain order and safety together. We apologize for the inconvenience that occurred and the delay in the journey of Commuter Commuter Cikarang tonight," he said.
