JAKARTA - The government has set an energy security budget of IDR 402.4 trillion in the 2026 book State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).
Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani explained, from this predetermined budget, most will be allocated to energy subsidies that include subsidies for fuel oil (BBM), liquid petroleum gas (LPG) 3 kg and electricity subsidies.
"For the energy security budget, this is quite large, IDR 402.4. Most of it is for energy subsidies," Sri Mulyani said at the RAPBN Press Conference and the Financial Note for Fiscal Year 2026, Friday, August 15.
In the book Financial Note 2026, the energy subsidy is planned at IDR 210 trillion consisting of certain fuel subsidies and 3 kg LPG gas cylinders of IDR 105.4 trillion, while electricity subsidies of IDR 104.6 trillion
He added, in addition to energy subsidies, the jumbo budget will also be disbursed for tax incentives of IDR 16.7 trillion and new and renewable energy (EBT) of IDR 37.5 trillion.

Sri Mulyani melanjutkan, infrastruktur energi juga masih diprioritaskan pada tahun 2026 dengan menggelontorkan anggaran sebesar Rp4,5 triliun.
Infrastruktur ini akan mencakup pembangunan pipa gas. Sementara itu untuk program listrik desa dipatok sebesar Rp5 btriliun.
"Listrik desa kita anggarakan Rp5 triliun, berdasarkan lokasi dan kemajuan. ini yang masuk dalam angagran ketahanan, selain selain subsidi kompensasi untuk bbm dan listrik, maupun berbagai hal yang sifatnya pembangunan baru," sambung dia.
Anggaran ini akan digunakan untuk pembangunan pembangkit EBT sebanyak 63 unit, konverter kit BBM ke BBG sebanyak 14.000 unit serta insentif biodiesel.
