JAKARTA - The construction of the South Jakarta 'Cikampek (Japek) II Toll Road continues to be accelerated.

The infrastructure project is still ongoing on a number of sections with gradual construction progress.

Covering the 7.25 km Setu 1 Jatiasih Package, the 10.5 km Setu 2A Setu Package, the 13 km Bojongmangu 2B Sukaragam Package and the 31.25 km Bojongmangu 3 Bojongmangu Package.

From several South Japek II toll roads, the Bojongmangu 'Sedang segment has been operated several times functionally limited, including during the Lebaran 2025 period.

"Currently, several sections have entered the construction stage and have functioned on a limited basis for Eid al-Fitr 2025," wrote BPJT.

Its operation aims to unravel the density when the traffic flow to Jakarta comes from the direction of Bandung if it experiences congestion.

"The presence of this toll road is expected to facilitate mobility as well as encourage the development of industrial, residential and tourism areas along its corridors," concluded BPJT.
