Sri Mulyani Approves The Increase In Housing KUR Ceiling For MSMEs

JAKARTA - The government plans to provide People's Business Credit (KUR) for housing financing for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with an increased ceiling of up to IDR 20 billion.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati had given approval to increase the housing KUR ceiling, from the previous Rp5 billion to Rp20 billion.

"This has also been prepared KUR, which is Rp. 5 billion for MSMEs and can be revolving and that is the ceiling of Rp. 20 billion, Mr. Minister (Residential and Settlement Area Maruarar Sirait). Ibu (Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani) has agreed, so today it's running," he said at a press conference, quoted Wednesday, August 6.

In addition, he said that the Government also encourages investment growth such as deregulation, increasing human resource capacity, to strengthening fiscal support through various incentives such as tax holidays, tax allowances, super deductions and coordination between Ministries/Institutions.

Airlangga added that the Government also decided to extend the Government-Borrowed Value Added Tax (PPN DTP) policy by 100 percent for the property sector until December 2025.

"The DTP VAT for the property sector is 100 percent (for houses for good) up to IDR 2 billion until December," he said.

On the other hand, he said that the Government was helping to encourage housing financing programs through two main schemes, namely the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) aimed at Low-Income Communities (MBR), as well as housing KUR for MSME actors.

"The government also continues the FLPP program and also housing program loans, housing exchanges to encourage MSMEs, where this is prepared for 450 thousand housing regulations have been prepared and 350 (OUS) FLPP, which is 450 (OUS) KUR," he said.
