In addition, he revealed that this operation succeeded in showing the effectiveness of the integrated sea patrol Customs as a bulwark of the country's economy.
"The success of this operation is a concrete proof of Customs commitment in enforcing the law and maintaining Indonesia's economic sovereignty through strong and synergistic maritime supervision," he said.

Then, the prosecution of 49.9 tons of tin sand in the waters of Pengibu Island which was transported by KM Budi to be exported to Malaysia illegally, as well as the prosecution of 51.2 million illegal cigarettes (5,120 cartons) resulting from the synergy of case handling by Customs and Navy in Riau waters against KM Harapan Indah 99.
Meanwhile, data on goods resulting from prosecution from the Customs Integrated Operation in the western region, namely in East Sumatra waters, which were exposed, namely three cases of tin sand smuggling as many as 2,696 sacks weighing 95.25 tons which were transported using KM Budi, KM Sunarti Indah II, KM Airyan 8.

The handling has now been carried out in synergy with the Quarantine Agency.
Next, the prosecution and handling of three cases of illegal cigarette smuggling were 75.1 million cigarettes on June 21, June 26, and July 4, 2025 in Riau Waters, Bird Island Waters, and Bagan Readyi-Api Outlets which were transported using KM Harapan Indah 99, an unnamed speedboat, and two high-speed aircraft (HSC), each equipped with seven machines with a capacity of 300 PK and 250 PK.
Meanwhile, this case is currently under investigation by Customs and has been designated as state-controlled goods (BDN).
Furthermore, 627 koli textile products were transported using KLM 96 Jaya and were confirmed on May 21, 2025 in the waters of the Dark Pen Strait. Currently, it has been designated as BDN.
Djaka said this achievement shows the high level of vulnerability in the eastern coastal area of Sumatra which is one of the focuses of Customs and Excise in conducting surveillance at sea to close the entrance to illegal goods.
He also ensured that all goods resulting from prosecution would be followed up in a transparent and accountable manner, including through destruction, as a form of commitment to maintaining the integrity of the customs system.
"We express our gratitude and appreciation to all ranks of the Customs Marine Patrol Task Force and all parties such as the TNI, Polri, and related ministries/agencies that support the implementation of operations so that they can run optimally," he added.
He conveyed that as a further step towards this success, Customs and Excise announced the sustainability of Indonesia's regional surveillance operations, through the establishment of the Smuggling Eradication Task Force which has been running since early July 2025.
