JAKARTA - Small and micro business actors in Yogyakarta City who have not had the opportunity to apply for registration in phase one to receive productive assistance in 2021 can take advantage of registration phase two which has already begun to open.

"This is not an extension of registration. But there is indeed a policy from the central government regarding the opening of the second phase of registration for production assistance for SMEs", said Head of the Yogyakarta City Cooperatives and SME Industry Service Tri Karyadi Riyanto in Yogyakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, May 6.

According to him, the second phase of registration is also open to SME players who have registered for the same assistance last year but have not received assistance.

Previously, continued Tri Karyadi, there was a clause that SMEs who had registered for productive assistance in 2020 did not need to register again because the database was still in the ministry.

"However, we recommend that SME players who have registered last year and have not received assistance register again this year", he said.

Meanwhile, for SME players who have received assistance last year, it is possible that in 2021 they will still receive assistance as long as they still meet the stipulated requirements.

"One of them is not accessing credit in banks. If you have access to credit, you will not receive any further assistance", he said.

Just like registration phase one, registration phase two is also done online through the Jogja Smart Service (JSS) application.

After submitting the online registration, SME players are asked to print proof of registration and submit it together with the complete registration documents no later than May 31 through the sub-district according to their respective domiciles.

In the first stage, 1,606 SMEs have registered and 850 of them have been verified. The rest is still in process.

In the city of Yogyakarta, it is estimated that 21,000 UKM players have KTPs (ID cards) as residents of the city of Yogyakarta. In 2020, 15,000 business actors have registered, but only 4,133 SMEs have received assistance.

"There is still an additional potential of around 6,000 business actors who last year had not had the opportunity to apply for productive assistance", he said.

Tri Karyadi also encouraged SMEs to take advantage of this opportunity as an effort to increase business capital. Each perpetrator will receive IDR 1.2 million in assistance.
