Prabowo Inaugurated The Launch Of The Red And White Kopdes On July 19

Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Budi Arie Setiadi said President Prabowo Subianto would inaugurate the launch of the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih) in Bentangan Village, Klaten, Central Java, on 19 July.

This was revealed by Budi Arie when met by reporters after attending the 77th Cooperative Day Commemoration at the Office of the Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop), Jakarta, Saturday, July 12.

"The Village/Redih Village Cooperative, which has a total of 80,560, will be launched on July 19, 2025 in Klaten, (Central Java) by President Prabowo," said Budi Arie.

Budi Arie said this momentum was the peak of the Commemoration Day of the 78th Cooperative which falls today, Saturday, July 12.

"We hope that this cooperative is not just a business entity or an economic institution, but also a cooperative is the spirit of mutual cooperation and the spirit of the people's economy that is moving, growing and developing," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the roadmap or roadmap from the Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih Program, said Budi Arie, his party still needs time.

"Regarding road maps, it's a debate because frankly this is a program, right, that's the initiative and movement of the people, so we really need time to make a road map," he said.

According to Budi Arie, in principle, the government in forming tens of thousands of Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih is not careless and will make it the identity of the nation in the future.

"The proof is that the implementation or realization of more than 80,000 Kopdes/Kel institutionally has been fulfilled in the not too distant future. Now, this indicates the enthusiasm of the community," said Budi Arie.

Budi Arie said that in the future the Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih could become a tool to improve the welfare of the people. "And also the progress of villages throughout Indonesia," he concluded.
