JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Planning and Development Co Ltd (PLADCO) to seize opportunities to work on projects in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries.

Through this collaboration, Waskita can again participate in tenders in Saudi Arabia, such as the construction of airports, stadiums and others.
The company targets the contract value obtained at around IDR 1-2 trillion for several projects that have the potential to be worked on together.
Currently, Waskita has also participated in the King Salman International Airport (KSIA) Package Runway 3 tender with the potential contract value of Rp970 billion.
Furthermore, the company and PLADCO are following the tender process for the KSIA Package Runway 4 project and the Enabling Works Package.
"Waskita has an advantage in technical experience and management, while the PLADCO as a Saudi Arabian company has added value as a local entity. So with the collaboration of the two, it is hoped that it can provide a greater chance of winning the tender," he said.
Later, Waskita can also be a subcontractor to work on projects in Saudi Arabia.
