JAKARTA - The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) for self-help farmers in Riau Province has decreased again by 1.73 percent or IDR 57.83 per kilogram to IDR 3,293.89 for the next week.
Head of the Processing and Marketing Division of the Riau Province Plantation Service, Defris Hatmaja, said that the pricing had used a new price rental table which was the result of a study from the Medan Palm Oil Research Center (PPKS).
The table has been agreed upon by the entire price-fixing team.
"Dengan penetapan ini, Dinas Perkebunan Provinsi Riau berharap informasi harga yang akurat dan transparan dapat menjadi dasar acuan bagi petani dan pelaku industri sawit dalam melakukan transaksi penjualan hasil panen mereka," kata dia dilansir ANTARA, Rabu, 11 Juni.
