JAKARTA - PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) continues to show its commitment to supporting sustainable infrastructure development in Indonesia. Until March 2025, various projects financed by IIF have had a positive impact on the quality of life of millions of people across the country, especially in the renewable energy sector, clean water management, and health services.

In the renewable energy sector, IIF has financed power generation projects with a total production capacity of 709.9 MW, reaching more than 709,000 households or around 3.5 million people. This sector contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) by 4.924 million tons of equivalent CO2 per year, equivalent to reducing emissions from 172,000 trees planted until 2025.

Meanwhile, in the drinking water supply sector, the IIF-funded project has increased the distribution capacity of clean water to 27,501 liters per second, serving around 1.39 million households or more than 6.78 million people in various regions in Indonesia. This is a real contribution in increasing public access to safe and feasible clean water sources.

In the health sector, IIF also supports the construction of health care facilities that now provide 1,051 inpatient beds and are able to serve more than 351,000 outpatients every year. This contribution plays an important role in bringing medical service access closer to the community.

"This achievement shows that infrastructure financing is right on target not only contributing to economic growth, but also providing social and environmental impacts. In the future, IIF will continue to strengthen its role as an enabler in sustainable infrastructure development," said Chief Risk Officer IIF, Lestari A. Umardin, in his statement, Wednesday, May 28.

With a sustainable financing strategy that applies social and environmental principles, IIF will continue to strive to provide innovative solutions in infrastructure project financing that provide long-term benefits for the community and the environment.
