Zulhas Surprised There Was A Finding Of A Gelonggoran Chicken At The Kebayoran Lama Market

Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs (Menko Pangan) Zulkifli Hasan admitted that he was surprised that there were findings of dazed chickens or the practice of injecting chickens with water at the Kebayoran Lama Market, South Jakarta.

The man who is familiarly called Zulhas also denied the fraudulent practice of chicken traders injecting water into chicken meat.

"It doesn't exist. All chicken entrepreneurs here are guaranteed a 100 percent halal tayyiban guarantee," he said at a press conference at the Ministry of Trade, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 4.

Zulhas ensured that the chickens sold were also clean and halal. However, he continued, if rogue chicken entrepreneurs are found, the government will take firm action.

"Later, the police will be arrested if there is something like that. All chicken entrepreneurs here are complete, all of these are chicken, halal entrepreneurs, the main tayyiban can all be consumed, God willing, guaranteed. No one is playing games," he said.

A man with the initials S (30) who is a chicken butcher at the location was arrested by the police. The perpetrator injected water into the chicken to increase weight.
