Astra Distributes IDR4.62 Trillion Dividends, Check The Distribution Schedule

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Astra International Tbk which took place today, Thursday 24 April, officially approved the distribution of dividends on 2020 net income, which is worth IDR4.62 trillion. The dividend of the company coded as ASII shares is equivalent to Rp114 / share which is distributed as cash dividends.

This amount, including interim dividends amounting to Rp27 / share or a total of Rp1.09 trillion which was paid on October 27, 2020. This means that the remaining dividends of Rp.87 / share or a total of Rp3.52 trillion will be paid on May 25, 2021. company shares whose names are registered in the company's Shareholders Register on May 4, 2021 at 16:00 WIB.

"We would like to thank all stakeholders for their full support. Although the Group's business performance has slowly improved in recent months, the prospects for this year's performance are still overshadowed by uncertainty due to the impact of the ongoing pandemic," said Astra International President Director Djony Bunarto. Astra International's remaining profit of Rp. 11.55 was recorded as the company's retained earnings. Last year, the automotive giant Tanag Air recorded a net profit dropping 26 percent to IDR 16.16 trillion in 2020, compared to 2019 which was recorded at IDR 21.71 trillion.

The decrease in Astra's net profit was due to a 2 percent decrease in net income to IDR 175.05 trillion from IDR 237.17 trillion in the same period.

The AGMS also accepted the resignation of Mark Spencer Greenberg as commissioner of the company.

Accordingly, the composition of the members of the Company's Board of Commissioners is changed to be as follows:
