PT CZI Officially Establishes Cooperation In The Energy Sector With LNG Korea

JAKARTA - PT Charlotte Zeno Indonesia (CZI) is collaborating with LNG Korea Co., Ltd in the field of investment and energy. This collaboration is part of the support of the private sector for sovereignty and energy resilience in the country.

The signing of the cooperation was carried out at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta, Friday, February 14. The investment value in the cooperation between the two companies is around US$2.52 million or equivalent to Rp40 trillion.

CZI President Director Chiquita Quireen said the cooperation is expected to trigger investment in the infrastructure and energy sector that can support domestic needs.

This is to open investment in energy and infrastructure in Indonesia to support the ideals of our nation. This collaboration can be a start that strengthens collaboration to strengthen infrastructure, energy, and opens opportunities for wider investment in the future," he said at a press conference.

Meanwhile, President Director of LNG Korea Co., Ltd Lee Jae Hyun said this collaboration is an important milestone in starting and maintaining sustainable and innovative development, especially with a combination of resources that match Indonesia and the technical development and development of LNG Korea.

He also said that his party will continue to support strengthening the energy sector in Indonesia. In fact, he plans to expand cooperation with other parties in Indonesia to be able to develop the progress of the energy sector in a sustainable manner.

This cooperation is expected to increase employment and technology transfer. LNG Korea will continue to expand cooperation with Indonesia and work together for the sustainable future energy development," said Lee Jae Hyun.

The cooperation carried out by PT Charlotte Zeno Indonesia with LNG Korea Co., Ltd was welcomed by the government.

The Special Advisory Expert Team of the President for Political and Security Affairs, Taviota Bay, assessed that the steps of the two companies were in line with President Prabowo Subianto's expectations so that Indonesia could have a strong energy sovereignty.

"This is the first step to work together between LNG Korea and PT CZI. After this, there will be steps that will be taken by related companies. So the purpose of this collaboration is to strengthen the energy and investment sector," said Taviota.

Tavitoa said the government encourages this cooperation investment to be realized quickly. Given, independence for food and energy is mandatory.

"Our food security is running and energy is also running, one of which is through this collaboration," he said.
