JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and Investment Minister of the United Arab Emirates (PEA) Mohamed Hassan Alsuwadi agreed to continue cooperation, especially investment in the digital economy, food and infrastructure.

The NDP SEZ targets the construction of a Data Center in Indonesia with an investment target of 400 Mega Watts or USD 4 Billion.

Airlangga said that the SEZ Nongsa ecosystem is also focused on accommodated several projects related to scientific and technological developments, such as Semiconductors and AI.

In addition to investment plans in the technology sector, Airlangga and Mohamed also discussed plans for the construction of airport and port infrastructure, as well as mentioning plans for the construction of Giant Sea Wall along the northern coast of Java Island.
