JAKARTA - Stan "BUMN House" with the participation of 14 SOEs and 52 MSMEs assisted at the 2025 Inacraft Exhibition want to invite the public to be proud and support the development of local products so that they can compete in the international market.

SOE Minister Erick Thohir said MSMEs and SOEs were the backbone of the Indonesian economy.

SOEs, he said, are not only focused on corporate growth, but also play an active role in helping Indonesian MSMEs to be more developed and resilient in the national and international markets in supporting the people's economy.

"The Ministry of SOEs has a big role in helping to advance MSMEs in Indonesia. We continue to encourage MSMEs to develop through various programs and cooperation with other institutions," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, February 9.

In the "BUMN house" there are 14 participating SOEs involving 52 assisted MSMEs from various categories, such as fashion, handicrafts, and accessories, as well as presenting 149 types of superior products that are ready to penetrate the international market.

Enlivening Inacraft 2025 which lasted until February 9, 2025, the BUMN House outlets located in the Main Lobby area and the JICC Assembly Hall (Jakarta International Convention Center), became an attractive place for visitors to speak directly with craftsmen, know the product manufacturing process, and buy products directly from local entrepreneurs.

In addition to products from fostered MSMEs, another agenda that is carried out is activation for visitors. In Inacraft 2025, BUMN houses present various interesting Mini Events. Every day, visitors can enjoy a series of interactive activities, such as workshops and product demonstrations from various participating SOEs.

The themes raised vary, ranging from Batik Lasem by PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), knitting bags with Perumnas, ecoprints on cloth media by PTPN IV, to patchwork tissue vouchers with Bank BTN. This activity provides direct experience for visitors to interact with craftsmen, study the product manufacturing process, and buy products directly from local entrepreneurs.

One of the participants, GIS claims to consistently provide comprehensive and sustainable assistance to MSMEs, one of which is by including them in various exhibitions to expand product marketing reach.

In the Inacraft 2025 exhibition, GIS facilitated two of its fostered MSMEs engaged in Nusantara fashion, namely Hastadana Batik, wrote Lasem and Saleen.

SIG Corporate Secretary Vita Mahreyni said Indonesia is a country rich in culture, including in terms of fashion.

Indonesia is noted to have a variety of wastra (traditional cloth), ranging from batik, weaving, songket, ulos, and others.

The participation of two fostered MSMEs, namely Batik Tulis Lasem Hastadana and Saleen at the Inacraft 2025 exhibition, is part of an effort to promote wastra Nusantara to the public.

Wastra Indonesia is not just a cloth, but an identity of the nation's pride. The creativity of fostered MSMEs in combining Indonesian wastra with the current fashion trend is expected to foster a sense of pride and attract public interest, especially the younger generation. GIS hopes that the archipelago fashion will be better known by the public and even worldwide, and can revive the creative industry in the country," said Vita.
