JAKARTA - The funeral for the leader of Adiguna Sutowo at Tanah Kusir Cemetery on Sunday, April 18, was heavily guarded by one of the community organizations (Ormas) Communication Forum Putra Putri Purnawirawan and Putra Putri TNI Polri (FKPPI).

In the observation, a number of FKPPI members were seen on guard around the TPU location, starting from the gate, parking lot, and around the grave.

The in-law of the artist Dian Sastro was buried after breathing his last breath today at 04.00 WIB at Pertamina Central Hospital (RSPP).

In fact, Adiguna is very close to the FKPPI mass organizations. This is because he was known to have led the organization from May 1998 to October 2003. On his way, he was accompanied by Erwin M. Singajuru who served as Secretary General.

At the end of his tenure, Adiguna was then replaced by his older brother, Ponco Sutowo, based on the results of the National Conference jointly between FKPPI and GM FKPPI at Wisma Haji Pondok Gede Jakarta.

As is well known, Sutowo's family is closely related to military activities. This is because his father, Ibnu Sutowo, was one of the top TNI officers during the early days of Indonesian independence.

Ibnu Sutowo is one of the confidants of the 2nd President of the Republic of Indonesia Soeharto who was given the mandate to develop the national oil and gas business through PT Perusahaan Minyak Nasional, abbreviated to Permina.

To note, Permina is the forerunner of the company PT Pertamina which is currently known as the main operator of the energy industry in Indonesia.

Adiguna Sutowo himself was born in Jakarta on May 31, 1958. He had a son named Maulana Indraguna Sutowo who later married Dian Sastrowardoyo on May 18, 2010.

Adiguna is also listed as the founder of the Mugi Rekso Abadi (MRA) Group, a business entity engaged in the retail and entertainment industry. The certainty of Adiguna's death was also confirmed by the Head of Business Growth MRA Media Iwet Ramadhan who is also an entertainer.
