OJK Records Capital Market Fund Collection Reaches IDR 259.24 Trillion By The End Of 2024

JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) said that until December 2024 the raising of funds in the capital market had reached Rp259.24 trillion.

"The collection of funds in the capital market in a fairly positive trend was recorded at the value of public offering reaching Rp259.24 trillion, including 43 new issuers who carried out fundraising and public offering with a value of Rp17.28 trillion through stock IPO and also the issuance of e-boosts," said the Chief Executive of the Capital Market Supervisory, Derivative Finance and Carbon Exchange (PMDK) Financial Services Authority (OJK) Inarno Djajadi at the RDKB OJK press conference, Tuesday, January 7.

Inarno said capital market capital capitalization was recorded at IDR 12,336 trillion, an increase of 2.79 percent month-to-date (mtd) and 5.74 percent year-to-date (ytd). And non-residentially recorded net sales of IDR 5.07 trillion (mtd) or net buy of IDR 16.53 trillion (ytd).

In addition, in the midst of sentiment in global economic conditions, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) until the end of 2024 closed at the level of 7,079.91 or weakened 0.48 percent (mtd) or 2.65 percent (ytd).

In the bond market, the Indonesia Composite Bond Index (ICBI) bond market index fell 0.12 percent (mtd), up 4.81 percent (ytd) to the level of 392.66 with non-resident investors recording net sales of IDR 2.91 trillion (mtd) or IDR 5.53 trillion (ytd).

Meanwhile, the investment management industry, the Asset Under Management (AUM) value was recorded at IDR 839.39 trillion, down 0.55 percent (mtd) but an increase of 1.78 percent (ytd).

Meanwhile, fundraising at Securities Crowdfunding (SCF) since the implementation of SCF provisions until December 30, 2024, there are 18 organizers who have obtained permission from the OJK with 713 securities publishers from 450 publishers and also 173,000 investors with a total SCF collected of IDR 1.36 trillion.
