Monitoring Nataru Homecoming Flow On The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, Deputy Minister Dony: Traffic Smoothly

KARAWANG - Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Dony Oskaria ensured that the flow of homecoming for the 2024 Christmas and New Year 2025 (Nataru) holidays on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road went smoothly.

Dony made this statement after he and the Head of the Traffic Police Corps, Inspector General (Irjen) of Police Aan Suhanan and President Director of PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) Rivan A Purwantono, directly inspected the traffic flow on the Jakarta Toll Road towards Cikampek KM 29.

"Today I am the same as Mr. Kakorlantas together with Mr. Director of Jasa Raharja, Mr. Dirgakum, we see the atmosphere and travel situation for our brothers and sisters enjoying the Christmas and New Year holidays, going smoothly," said Dony at the PJR Korlantas Polri Commad Center KM 29 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, Karawang, Friday, December 27.

Based on the checks, continued Dony, the flow of homecoming for the Christmas and New Year holidays for this year's period is much better than in previous years.

"Of course this is our gratitude this year for a smoother journey than in previous years," he said.

According to him, the volume of vehicles passing on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road remains busy smoothly.

He ensured that Jasa Marga, Jasa Raharja, and Korlantas Polri would continue to provide the best service for travelers.

"There is always an increase, of course, cooperation from Jasa Raharja, Jasa Marga, then also other SOEs and Korlantas, we are trying our best in providing services to the people of Indonesia," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Traffic Police Corps, Inspector General of Police Aan Suhanan, explained that the police had also smoothly managed traffic flow on Christmas celebrations on December 25 and December 26.

"We can already manage, thank God, yesterday, 25 to 26 (December) there is no need for traffic to be stuck, yes, we can manage, it can run smoothly, so people can enjoy the last Christmas holiday with fun, comfortably, free from traffic jams," said Aan.

Furthermore, Aan said, the peak of the flow of homecoming for the 2024 Christmas holiday had occurred on 21 December.

He said the number of vehicles traveling at the peak of the homecoming flow decreased compared to the same period the previous year.

"Yes, so thank God, for the flow of our Christmas homecoming, it has passed the 21nd peak, although the figure compared to last year's Nataru has decreased," said Aan.

Meanwhile, continued Aan, the return flow for Christmas is expected to occur on December 29, 2024.

"Then we are ready to serve people who will go home, New Year's holidays and backflow. Now there are those who return home. Because yesterday I saw the existing data, not all of them returned for Christmas holidays," he said.
