Raja Fotokopi Astragraphia Distributes Dividend Of Rp19.2 Billion, Equivalent To 40 Percent Profit In 2020

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of PT Astra Graphia Tbk. (Astragraphia) decided to approve the distribution of dividends to shareholders amounting to 40 percent of the total net profit for the fiscal year 2020 of Rp48 billion. That is, shareholders will receive a total cash profit of Rp19.2 billion.

Each Astragraphia shareholder will receive a total dividend of Rp14 per share. Previously, Astragraphia has distributed an interim dividend on October 20, 2020 of Rp5, and the remaining Rp9 will be paid on May 12.

Astragraphia President Director Hendrix Pramana said the pandemic situation makes business travel quite challenging. He claimed that the company has been trying to navigate, adapt, and mitigate quickly to achieve business opportunities and optimize performance.

"We also provide the best service to customers while putting health and safety first. This is Astragraphia's top priority in 2020," he said in an official statement after attending the Annual GENERAL MEETING on Wednesday, April 14.

Hendrix added that over the past year Astragraphia has managed to maintain its position as a market leader in the A3 multifunctional color and monochrome device segment, as well as production printers.

In addition, a subsidiary of PT Astra Graphia Information Technology (AGIT) managed to record new contract growth of 16 percent compared to the same period in 2019.

"Challenges from home and abroad are predicted to continue, but we will strive for better revenues and profits followed by the principle of prudence," he said.

On the same occasion, Astragraphia Director Halim Wahjana called the company's cash position quite good even though business performance was significantly impacted by the contraction of national economic growth as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

"Consolidated, the company recorded net income of Rp3.35 trillion and was able to record a net profit of Rp48 billion, where the largest contribution of net income was obtained from the core business of document solutions," he said.

For the record, the company with the asgr stock code is a corporation established in 1975 and listing on the floor of the exchange since 1989.

Astragraphia focuses on the scope of printing business and document business through Fuji Xerox partners. Astragraphia itself has subsidiaries, including PT Astra Graphia Information Technology (AGIT) and PT Astragraphia Xprins Indonesia (AXI).
